The easiest way to get six-pack abs

Is by eating cleanly and exercising efficiently.
I’m sure that is not what you wanted to hear. But I got your attention there, huh? We all want sexy six-pack abs — but many of us don’t want to do the required work to actually get them.
And companies like Bliss are preying on just that.
Not only does Bliss have an entire “FatGirl” line, which I never knew about and have a few choice thoughts about, but they have a product called Bliss FatGirlSixpack.
I wish this was a joke.

The ingredient list contains impressive ingredients like caffeine, which is great for firming skin. And maybe this product actually does help with bloating and cellulite, perhaps it can tighten the look of your midsection. Perhaps. But, a six-pack? A SIX-PACK?!
As in, six separate sections of strong, hard muscle with no layers of fat over it?
I happen to be very into health and fitness. I work closely with fitness professionals and over the last few years, I learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t.
- Eating clean, real, healthy foods
- Eating appropriate portion sizes
- Avoiding sugar, processed carbs, fatty meats
- Avoiding alcohol (most of the time)
- A combination of both resistance and cardio training
- Incorporating interval training into your fitness routine
- Ab exercises that are better than crunches (on top of everything else in this list)
What doesn’t work
- Special shoes
- Other quick fixes
If quick fixes for weight loss or muscle definition actually worked, wouldn’t we all be strong and lean? You might remember those Skechers Tone-Up shoes. A quick-fix for people who want to tone up just by walking around in special sneakers was later proved to be ineffective and unsafe. Skechers has to pay $40 MILLION to people they deceived with unfounded claims.
Look — I’m not perfect. I eat too many cookies and I don’t eat enough protein (I am actively working on improving one of those – can you guess which?). I’m not saying you have to be perfect or that you have to try to be perfect. I’m just saying not to expect to have sculpted abs from a bottle. It just doesn’t work that way.
As much as we don’t want to hear it, the only way to get those coveted abs is through hard work. You can build those ab muscles with exercise and you can lose the outer layer of fat with healthy eating and, you guessed it, more exercise. Eat better, exercise more efficiently and effectively and then you might get those six-pack abs you crave. You’ll also have stronger hair, nails and skin, be better protected against cancer, heart disease and other illnesses, have improved bone density, more energy, better sleep — the list is endless.
I promise the investment to your health is infinitely more valuable than a $38.00 lotion.
